Presidents message

Well done to all teams and participants in the Spring 2024/Summer 2025 Blast Skills, Blast Comp and Junior Cricket.

For a small club in the East, we achieved some amazing results and punched way above our weight.

While winning is great, it is the way the players and parents approached the game that gives me the most pleasure.

Thank you to all the coaches, team managers, parents, grandparents, players, fruit cutters, siblings, gazebo pitchers and scorers. Without your help and support, we wouldn’t have a club.

In the coming weeks, we will send out information about the upcoming AGM (to elect a proper club committee) and Presentation Day (May 2025) via this email channel and your team managers.

In the meantime, please have a think about how you can contribute to the success and growth of the club. We need people with skills - website, social media, event planners, accountants. Anyone from any walk off life to help manage and run the club - many hands will certainly make for light work.

See below for pictures of each Coastal Team (we look forward to welcoming all our Blast skills into big person cricket!), and special mention to the Draper Family for arriving the day before their final to do some necessary pitch prep! Thumbs up to the Drapers, double thumbs down to the Council!

Dave Dawson is a great supporter of the club and deserves our support in turn. On that note, a huge thanks to Peter and Zac Wotherspoon of Core Mortgage Brokers, who’s continued generosity to the club is appreciated. Anyone looking to refinance their mortgage or to buy a house - please speak to them and support them like they support our club.
